Here are a few pictures from the "Honey do and Garden shower." Everyone from Jeff's work came to the Daigres where we ate, visited and opened gifts. We had a wonderful time, it was so nice of the Daigres to host a shower for us. I feel like I know so many people in Raleigh already. Here is the young crew, who I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time with once I'm finally there in June!

I went to see Jeff this past weekend since I had Friday and Monday off from teaching. We had such an eventful weekend! We went to see the house which is so far along, not at all what I expected.. Jeff has done a wonderful job building our first home. Then we went to pick out appliances and things for the house. Sunday night we had a "Honey Do and Garden Shower" thown for us by the Daigres. (Thank you guys so much, it was so much fun!) I hated to leave Jeff but it was the LAST time we will ever have to say goodbye again! That means I won't see him again until the wedding...sad! I cannot wait to marry him and move to Raleigh! After six years it is about time we stop saying goodbye! Only about 2 months left, lots to do!

Planning, planning and more planning....

This spring break was quite different from my other ones in college, no beach, no cruise ship, no partying all night long (not that I did that anyway). I went home for a week and planned. I was kinda dreading it, but I actually had a great time. I got so much accomplished and I am much less stressed! My cake and my flowers are finalized, my invitations are stamped and ready to be mailed, and I took bridal portraits (along with doing a lot of other small detailed things). So bring on the big day, it can't come fast enough!! Also, spending a week with my wonderful family was good too, lots of mother/daughter bonding time. Also, I enjoyed relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets from the deck of our reception site, you can't beat the bay overlooking the Mobile skyline.

I Miss 4th Grade!

My supervising teacher, Mrs. Davis, gave me this canvas on my last day in her class. She had the whole class sign it then make me cards! It will be perfect hanging outside my very own room next year! It was the sweetest/saddest thing!! I did NOT want to leave this placement! But, all good things must come to an end, so now I am in kindergarten... what can I say about kindergarten? They are so much more dependent, they do not know how to raise their hand and wait patiently, they can't spell anything, they come out of the bathroom with their pants around their ankles... get the picture? I miss my fourth graders so much! Some people were born to teach certain ages, I am definitely an upper elementary person for sure!
